Can I contribute a little story of my life to you all
in encouraging people
who are stuck in a less fortunate reality now?

When I was in school at my teenage years,
my family was too poor to get me any help on my studies.

I had this special interest in English,
but my language teacher didnt even care to give me any help because I was in a poor family.

So I studied English vocabulary,
grammar,
language usage,
sentence patterns and all that
on my own
for most of the time of those years.

To prove that I could do it on my own and get good results,
I took the International Cambridge First Cert. Test in 2000.

I remember I waited for a whole year for the test;
only 12 people in Taiwan signed up for it;
and of the 12
only 3 people past the bar and officially got the cert. from the University of Cambridge.

I was one of them,
all self-taught in preparing for the test,
without any help from private tutor nor cram schools.

I was and am grateful for God’s blessings.

And I had this wonderful inspiration⬇️

That was when I realized,
the reality of my poor family didnt define who I was..

I can be who I am determined to be,

with God’s blessings,faith and efforts in action.

So…here I am…
still learning sth in English everyday.

Built my career on
teaching English to students of all age,
being a Bilingual Translator / Interpreter,
being a bilingual Life Coach.

I have more free time than most corporate workers;
I am blessed to be able to support my family,
and be there for my children when they need me.

The story may not seem much nowadays,
but the point is,

a life will start to change
the moment you set your heart
on doing something right and worthy for yourself!

The good fruit will come your way eventually,
dont give up on God,on faith and
don’t give up on yourself.

Hope my story knocks on the hearts of those in need
at the right time.
