When I was in college, Keelung and Tamsui were not too far away, so I went home almost every weekend.
Mom always packs me a big bag of fruit to take back to school.

Sometimes, I would say impatiently that I can buy them at school myself, it’s too troublesome to carry these.
Nevertheless, mom continues to prepare clean fruits for me.
“You can eat them anytime, very convenient and fresh!”

Until now, I always pack all kinds of snacks for my daughter to take back to school.
And every time I will remember my mother’s fruit bag and her shy smile with a reluctant goodbye.
